NCTCOG's Ten Principles in Action Series: Montgomery Farm

(April 2008) This is the first in a series of articles highlighting past recipients of the Celebrating Leadership in Development Excellence (CLIDE) Award Program. Montgomery Farm was a 2007 CLIDE Recipient in the category of New Development. Held every two years, the CLIDE Awards Program recognizes programs and projects that exemplify NCTCOG’s Ten Principles of Development Excellence.


 
"Keep Texas Beautiful" Honors Montgomery Farm For Environmental Practices
(April 25, 2008) The Keep Texas Beautiful Awards recognized Montgomery Farm with 2nd place in the Ebby Halliday and Maurice Acers Business/Industry Leadership award.  This award recognizes those businesses with sound environmental principles. The awards are named for Ebby Halliday and the late Maurice Acers of Dallas, two founding members of Keep Texas Beautiful. The award was presented for the first time in 1993.

 


 
Montgomery Farm presented with 2007 CLIDE

(July 2007) - Montgomery Farm continues to be recognized as a leader in conservation-focused design and development. The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) has presented Montgomery Farm with the 2007 CLIDE (Celebrating Leadership in Development Excellence) Award.


 
Montgomery Farm Gardens receives TNLA Award
(February 17,2007 - Dallas Morning News) - Montgomery Farm Gardens has received an Excellence in Landscaping Award from the Texas Nursery and Landscape Association, which recognizes excellence in landscape design and environmental improvement.

Montgomery Farm was a 500-acre farm owned by the Williams family for over 65 years.
