Anthropologie Opening Highlights a Big Weekend at Watters Creek |
The highly-anticipated opening of Anthropologie happens Friday at Watters Creek , featuring its vintage-chic collection of women’s clothing, shoes, handbags, home furnishing, gifts and decorative items. Anthropologie is right across from Victoria Secret and Apricot Lane.
Also opening are Ann Taylor with their assortment of chic career and casual separates, dresses, tops, weekend wear, shoes and accessories; and Soma Intimates known for their luxurious bras, panties, sleepwear, active wear and patented Vanishing Edge Collection.
Scheduled to open later this fall are Savour Tapas Bar, a new modern bistro serving international shared plates with a vibrant indoor-outdoor bar overlooking the Green, focused on fresh artisanal cocktails; and Frogg Café and Creperie specializing in delicious sweet and savory crepes and a variety of gourmet coffees. Amabel Designs will open late August offering an extensive selection of fashion costume jewelry.
Also this weekend,  The Allen Arts Alliance will hold a membership event, Fall For The Arts, on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. featuring artwork and performances by local arts groups who comprise The Allen Arts Alliance. Guests can also partake in the festivities of the opening night exhibition of Allen artist Amanda Dunbar at the Dunbar Studios Gallery located directly across from the newly opened Anthropologie where her Precious Rebel Swarovski crystal-adorned guitars will be on display.
Complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the evening and guests can enjoy live music by Classic Steel on The Green.
